    The Engineering Program Manager will manage cross-functional teams (Core Team) and will deliver new Storage Solutions for the Big Data Storage market. The successful candidate will also manage cross-functional activities, resources, schedules, budgets, and ensures cross-company communications to drive product development and NPI on schedule within budget.

    Role:

    Candidate shall support and/or lead teams through the Engineering development process, qualification, and the release management of Big Data Solutions. The program manager will preside over the core team and will manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross-company communications to facilitate program completion on schedule and within budget.

    The Solution Program Manager will interface with Architects, Development Engineers, Test and Qualification at the system level and as such the candidate must have acquired technical dexterity that spans across Industry Standard Server (HW), Software and Operating System integration, and must have performed the role of release management

    Responsibilities:

    Candidate shall manage and lead programs involving several cross functional and project teams to drive the engineering development and introduction of Big Data and Analytics Solutions consisting of Hardware, Software and Platform Services and product release through a value chain implementation. Additionally, candidate shall develop and direct the development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Extensive experience with using project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.

    Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

    Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language

    Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.

    Ideal Candidate Requirements:

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or Computer Science.

    Over 10 years' experience with significant Engineering and Program management of Storage, Server products, Release Management

    PMP/PMI certification preferred

    Additional experience in engineering design and in any of the key stakeholder areas especially in Supply Chain and Manufacturing

    Background in Server architecture is a plus

    Expert knowledge in Storage Solutions

    Proven record of driving innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into engineering and value chain led projects
