Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Systems Engineer2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. NGAS is seeking a motivated engineer to support the modeling and simulation activities for the Swordfish program. The role will require integrating existing simulation models/capabilities into a broader simulation architecture being planned within a consortium of Boeing, Raytheon, and Northrop Grumman.


Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline from an ABET accredited university with 2+ years of engineering experience OR STEM Master's degree with 0+ years

- Active DoD Top Secret clearance required

- Ability to develop computer simulations of physics/math models using a current programming language

- Understanding of software architectures and computing environments, including virtual machines

Preferred Qualifications:

- Proficiency in C#/C++ .NET.

- Strong aptitude for software development and integration, simulation development, graphic utilities and user interfaces

- Ability to develop architecture models for simulation software using SysML or UML

- Ability to work with a team and grow rapid prototyping environments

- Experience with EO sensor performance, optics and/or modeling & simulation using remote sensing techniques
