Eng Logistics Specialist I - Logistics processing

Job Description:
This WLED section is responsible for execution of Logistics processing in support of specific elements of fielded systems within the Integrated Defense Systems business area.

The section’s objective is to provide support of the logistics to the maintenance facilities around the world, full time on-site support at one Continental United States (CONUS) maintenance facility, and on-site support for other facilities as-required.

In this position, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of program tasking in accordance with program cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Tasking includes, but is not limited to: analysis of system Logistics data from the maintenance facilities, generation and execution of procurement, Export/Import, and government tracking documentation to meet Logistics requirements, Program Warehouse management, and logistics spares management for applicable maintenance facility customers.

Given only general direction, you will be expected to determine and develop solutions covering a wide range of subjects including: Logistics Management, Integrated Supply Chain, Export/Import, Government Furnished Material (GFM), and Depot support.

This position can be a G06 or a G07 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibilities required for the position.

Required Skills:

  • Less than two years of prior experience in a hardware engineering role in the logistics of complex aerospace systems.
  • Ability to obtain a Confidential Security Clearance
Desired Skills:

  • Experience with the Raytheon Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS), Process Re-invention Integrating Systems for Manufacturing (PRISM)
  • Ability to manage multiple technical projects and customer requests in a fast paced operations environment
  • Develop and provide technical presentations to large audiences including the U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers
  • Understanding and wide application of engineering experience including System assembly, disassembly and test
  • Understanding of EVMS and its implementation
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Oracle databases and Sequel Queries
  • Production Control Experience
Required Education (including Major):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline or multiple years of relevant field experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. (Two years related work experience can substitute for one year of education)

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
