Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to perform laboratory based development of water technology systems and processes.

You will develop and optimize processes to recover water from industrial, residential, or energy-related processes. Demonstrate knowledge of water clean-up and membrane separation principles and utilize concepts in chemistry and/or chemical engineering to optimize process conditions. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team setting. Work independently while operating within a larger team to achieve specific project targets. Maintain currency in relevant scientific literature and participates in preparing reports, peer-reviewed publications and proposals. Represent the laboratory though program reviews and technical presentations at conferences. Meet ES&H goals, and demonstrates a strong commitment to safe laboratory practices, and performs all work in an environmentally safe and compliant manner.

PhD requirements in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related disciplines must be completed by commencement of appointment and within the previous 5 years.

Demonstrated oral and published written communication skills (in English).
