Energy Assurance Program Manager

KeyLogic Systems is seeking an experienced Program Manager to be the senior onsite technical leader and support team manager for a federal facility energy management advisory and assistance services contract in the metropolitan Washington, DC area.

Position Responsibilities:

The Energy Assurance Program Manager will lead a contractor support team made up of highly skilled engineers, energy experts and technical staff complementing federal efforts to meet energy assurance and resiliency objectives at military installations and major commands.  With the ultimate objective of delivering a satisfying customer experience, the Program Manager is responsible to recruit, train and sustain their support team to meet customer cost, schedule and quality performance expectations.  The program is characterized by a diverse range of concurrent energy management technical challenges affecting national and international customer locations. The Program Manager is expected to be a subject matter expert and/or a technical leader for multiple projects while leading and managing a diverse and geographically distributed workforce.  A substantial amount of travel may be required to meet mission and customer objectives.

Position Requirements: 

  • U.S. Citizenship and a current NACI required; active DOD Security Clearance is preferred
  • Master's Degree in engineering, architecture or physical sciences substantially relevant to facility and infrastructure type projects
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in federal facility energy management
  • Five (5)+ years of experience leading and managing the efforts of fifty (50) or more assigned staff; a geographically distributed workforce
  • PMP Certification is preferred
  • Certification as a Professional Engineer or Architect, Certified Energy Manager or Certified Demand Side Manager is preferred
  • Demonstrated Experience in the following facility energy management activities:
    • ​Energy assurance and resiliency program design and planning
    • Operations and maintenance program management
    • Construction planning and programming management
    • Compliance tracking system management
    • Interacting with state and federal environmental regulatory agencies
    • Utilities forecasting/payment processes and service contract oversight
    • Utilizing Automated Data Processing systems
    • Gathering data, conducting analyses, preparing reports and delivering recommendations
