Electronics Technician

Job Description

CACI is seeking a cleared  Electronics Technician for its Technical Team in Tucson, Arizona.  If you are looking for a new opportunity to work in an advanced environment, CACI would like to speak with you.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Perform a variety of complex technical functions related to the support of development engineering activities such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, or specialized test equipment.
  • Assist engineers with fabricating and assembling electronics subassemblies for prototype models.
  • Install power and data cabling (ethernet, fiber optic, and others). Terminate, troubleshoot and solder cabling as necessary.
  • Install network and communications equipment, troubleshoot electronics to determine cause and remedy for malfunctions and perform modifications to electronic equipment as directed.
  • Perform manual tasks such as: rust treatment and materials removal, metal grinding, running cable, or application of various solutions.
  • Maintain and adhere to operational procedures, follow work orders and assist with preparation of reports and appropriate documentation.

More About the Role:

Your responsible for applying technical knowledge and practical concepts, processes, and methods related to technical systems and components. You will also provide guidance, technical direction, analysis and support for the design, development, integration, testing, documentation, implementation, and sustainment of any of a variety of hardware, software, and integrated product solutions. 


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
  • An AS in electronics  with 3-5 years of electronics technician experience.  (certifications preferred)
  • Able to use basic hand and machine tools.
  • Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals and to work from diagrams, electronics schematics and rough sketches.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Focus on items less than 20” away, seeing three dimensions, and distinguish all colors.
