TheElectronic Security Technician IIapplies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problemsby interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents, industryexperience and local and national code requirements. Work requires familiarity and theunderstanding of various types of circuits with good judgment in planning work,sequence, selection of appropriate tools, testing instruments, industry bestpractices/standards, and may be reviewed for complianceagainst the quality control installation and servicing plan. This technician works under immediatesupervision and should request technical guidance, as required, from supervisoror higher-level technician

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform thisjob successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily.)
Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:
Mustunderstand the basic skill sets of soldering, crimping, labeling andterminating various cable types with the appropriate connector(s).
OSHA30 Training required.
Aeriallift certification
Safety/FirstAid Training
Mustparticipate in all company described training programs as required.

While performing the duties of thisJob, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this jobinclude close vision.

The employee will normally work ina temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure toelectronic office equipment.
During visits to areas ofoperations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborneparticles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
