Electrical Responsible Subsystem Engineer (RSE) - SSBI

Job Description:
This is a Responsible Subsystem Engineer (RSE) position for the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) IPT on a complex Space Program. In this position, you will take ownership of the electronic unit specification, support unit level assembly and integration, provide verification oversight of testing to ensure execution of the Requirements Verification Plan and Test Requirements Document at the unit level, complete technical review of Test Procedures, support Failure Review Board, and perform the final compliance assessment and documentation sell-off of the electronic unit to SEIT. With the completion of the electronics unit sell-off to SEIT, the RSE will be responsible for representing the unit with subsystem integration and test and ultimately the sell-off of the subsystem to the customer. This is a complex electronics unit that also requires a strong understanding of software and formal qualification testing.

Required Skills:
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience
• Strong background in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Hardware
• Experience with software Formal Qualification Testing (FQT)
• Experience with requirements verification and sell-off
• Experience with supporting formal reviews such as Test Readiness Review (TRR), Failure Review Board (FRB), or Consent to Ship Review (CTSR)
• Active SSBI / SCI or Top Secret clearance
• U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
• U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems

Desired Skills:
• Experience with requirements flow down, maintenance and management of requirements through the use of DOORS requirement database management tool
• Experience with Electrical design integration – interpreting signal lists, Electrical inter Connect Drawings (EICDs), and intra and inter box knowledge
• Experience with electronics worst case circuit analysis (WCCA)
• Ability to perform Electrical drawings/schematics/test procedure technical reviews
• Software knowledge
• Processor experience
• Understanding of FPGA parameters and how they work
• Experience with circuit simulation and analysis, noise modeling, and stability
• Team oriented individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Master's Degree/PhD in relevant field

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM), or Master's Degree/PhD in relevant field with 10+ years of engineering experience
