Raytheon Intelligence Information and Services (IIS) is looking for Electrical Engineers to join the Engineering team at our Dulles, VA location.
The hardware engineering intern in this position will support the war fighter, delivering engineering solutions in the air, land, sea, and cyber realm. You will apply fundamental engineering skills in areas of requirements analysis, communications and network design, computer and network hardware specification, unit level test including application of proper ESD and safety guidelines, and system test. Knowledge of VoIP networks and the CISCO IOS would be considered an asset. Knowledge of RF communications also would be a plus. Network certifications including Security +, and CCNA would also be a discriminator. The position requires effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Good computer skills are also required including use of MS Visio, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.

Industry related internship experience

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
Must have obtained Sophomore, Junior or Senior status as of Summer of 2017.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is desired (Please include GPA on resume)
This position can be Salary Grade ST02, Salary Grade ST03, or Salary Grade ST04 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
