ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING ANALYST

Electrical Engineering Analyst 
Location: Bethesda, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI Required 
Polygraph: CI Polygraph Required 

Required Knowledge I Skills I Abilities 
Applicable degree(s): Architecture, Civil Engineering, Counterintelligence, Electrical Engineering, Law Enforcement, Logistics, or Security.
Demonstrated experience with U.S. Federal Government project management practices.
Demonstrated experience in technical surveillance countermeasures in U.S.Federal Government systems.
Demonstrated experience in information security, technical security, and physical security with a detailed understanding of the IC cyber security and information assurance.
Demonstrated experience in effective interpersonal skills, to include working well with groups made up of disparate organizations and various grade levels.
Ability to perform periodic travel both domestically and abroad as required. Overseas Federal experience highly desired.

Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 
Minimum of ten (10) years of IC and/or Department of State experience in the physical and technical security field, including an understanding of both Technical Security or Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) and TEMPEST. These ten (10) years may be concurrent with the requisite years of work experience.
Demonstrated expert experience of attack methodology for technical collection of intelligence and methods of mitigation.
Demonstrated expert experience in electromagnetics, acoustics and optics to include the study of electromagnetic wave propagation and interference, antenna theory,
Wireless communications, acoustic wave propagation, optical communications, electrical geophysics, guided wave devices and systems, as well as particle physics.
Demonstrated expert knowledge of RF architectural shielding materials, acoustic absorption materials and optical absorption materials.
Demonstrated experience the field of technical security systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of the organizational structure and technical security (RF, acoustic and optical) policies of the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of State (Foreign Affairs) community.
Demonstrated knowledge of technical risk management to include threat and vulnerability analysis.
Demonstrated expert knowledge of applicable federal laws, Presidential Directives, Executive Orders, Intelligence Directives such as ICD 705 and Cl threat environments at
U.S. diplomatic missions, experience working with the SETLICD 503, and understanding of OSPB 12 FAH-6 in the following disciplines: Technical Security, Physical Security, Cyber Security, and Counterintelligence Working Group (CWIG) functions.

Required Education and Experience 
Expert Level Must have: Masters + 10 yrs experience, OR BA + 12 yrs experience, OR,AA +14 yrs experience, OR No degree +20 yrs
Senior Level Must Have: Masters + 8 yrs experience, OR BA +10 yrs, OR AA +12 yrs, OR No degree +18 yrs
Mid-Level Must Have: Masters + 2yrs, OR BA +4 yrs, OR AA +6 yrs
