SAIC is looking for a motivated, detail oriented individual who can help us provide the latest capabilities to the warfighter.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Develops and implements changes to LCAC C4N System Baseline Configuration Four (SBC-4) hardware and software.
Designs and/or modifies Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) computing and input/output (I/O) devices, connectors/cabling, junction boxes and custom Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
Develops specifications for procurement of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and components for GOTS computing and I/O devices
Develops and maintains engineering drawings to include Interface Control Drawings (ICD), electrical schematics, mechanical CAD drawings, etc.
Some work may require experience with Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, USB, RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial controllers.
Qualifications
Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) BS degree.
Minimum two years’ experience in electrical, electronic or computer engineering design/development.
Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Altium or comparable engineering design tools.
Experience troubleshooting system electrical/electronic design deficiencies and implementing solutions/workarounds
Applicants selected for this position will require an active DoD Secret clearance, background screening. Applicants selected for a security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for access to classified information.
