Directorate & Center Description:
The mission of the System Test Directorate is to develop, integrate and execute test strategies and solutions to guarantee product performance, producibility, and warfighter suitability through collaboration across Raytheon Missile Systems. Systems Test opportunities include:

  • Working with state-of-the-art and emerging technologies.

The Test Systems Solutions Center (TSSC) applies an interdisciplinary approach to provide total test solutions that ensure the quality of all missile products. TSSC uses common platforms and processes to design/develop production, depot and engineering test stations.

Job Description:

The candidate will participate on engineering teams performing design, integration and validation of RMS test products within the Test Systems Solution Center (TSSC). As such, the candidate will contribute to the development at all stages of Special Test Equipment (STE) for missile products. The candidate will work under general supervision and follow established procedures to plan and perform a variety of tasks related to the development of hardware for test stations. Typical work involves frequent use and application of Electrical Engineering standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques; interacting with other engineering groups to define, analyze, perform, and interpret tests requirements; uncovering issues and determining course of action to obtain the desired results; and reporting progress to Team lead.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.


Required Skills:

U.S. Citizenship is required

Minimum of 2 years professional electrical engineering design experience, including circuit design, analysis, test and production support (0 years’ experience with a Master of Science degree in disciplines mentioned below will be considered equivalent to meet the 2 year experience requirement)

Experience with schematic capture, circuit simulation and analysis tools

Experience with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis

Experience using Test Equipment like Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters, etc

Familiar with analog, digital, and/or RF signal test and analysis

Desired Skills:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse environment

Self-starter and able to manage workload to meet assigned deadlines

Excellent technical writing and formal presentation experience

Experience with Test Equipment development

Required Education (including Major):

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
