Electrical/Computer Engineer

The Challenge:

What if you could use your engineering skills to transform the Air Force’s electronic components? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to the planning, design, production, and maintenance of electric or electronic components. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to oversee technical lab activities and operate test equipment and instrumentation.

Our team uses advanced research and development (R&D), analysis, and engineering techniques to perform technical analysis as part of a broader modeling and simulation team. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer with a solid understanding of modeling and simulation to help us design and develop microelectronic and integrated circuits. You’ll learn how to work directly with the client to conduct research in the field of trusted and assured microelectronics. You’ll directly impact aerospace by maintaining responsibility for analyzing and conducting the technical processes or phases of projects. You Have:

-Experience as an engineer or analyst using microelectronic and integrated circuit work or methods to evaluate microelectronic security and reliability 

-Experience with semiconductor fabrication processes and integrated circuit and board-level electronic design

-Experience with software development or coding, including C++ and Python

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with hardware description languages, including Verilog or VHDL preferred

-Experience with logical and physical design verification

-Experience with electronic design automation tools, including Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics tool suites

-Top Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree in EE or Computer Engineering preferred; PhD in EE or Computer Engineering a plus

-Completion of materials science studies preferred
