BIT Systems is looking for DSP Electrical Engineers with a background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and implementing signal processing algorithms.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Design, develop, debug, and test signal processing algorithms running on a variety of platforms supporting intelligence, defense, and other government missions. 
  • Work with a product development team to develop concepts, identify creative solutions to customer requirements and assess feasibility of these solutions. 
  • Support the design, build, and delivery of QRC signal processing systems.

You"ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and ten to twelve years of related experience.
  • Expertise programming in a Linux environment
  • Must have excellent programming skills in C/C++ and python.
  • Expert with designing signal processing algorithms, modulators/demodulators, and channel equalizers.
  • Thorough understanding of software defined radio systems including receiver architectures, software channelization, modulation/demodulation techniques, spectral analysis, error correcting codes
  • Involvement in the full spectrum of product development (concept, design, implementation, test, production
  • Working familiarity with radio frequency (RF) systems and test equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, etc.)
  • Development of link budgets, range estimates, and system sensitivity assessments

These Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with X-Midas
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Engineer
  • Preferably experience in digital signal processing and software development.
