DRAS2 - PeopleSoft HCM & GP Developer Lead

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting all aspects of PeopleSoft HCM and GP solution;
  • Experience with PeopleSoft in all the following areas:
    • Core HCM Product,
    • Base Benefits,
    • Global Pay and HCM Payroll Interface, and
    • Self-Service Functionality.
  • Provides professional expertise in the area of Business Process Reengineering for implementing COTS PeopleSoft HCM and GP modules for Government use.
  • Provides high-level architectural expertise to managers and direction to developers assigned to the Agile Scrum Teams.
  • Supports development of architectural products and deliverables at the program level and processes for use in day to day development tasks.
  • Supports development of a strategy for the system over time and the design of the underlying infrastructure necessary to support the PeopleSoft application and meet overall system performance objectives.
  • Advises on adoption of PeopleSoft out of the box features and selection of technological products with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
  • Provides expert knowledge on mapping functional requirements of the customer to the capabilities of the PeopleSoft system.
  • Meets with users, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to define business requirements.
  • Investigates / researches Federal processing requirements, standards, and regulations.
  • Translates end-user requirements into PeopleSoft-specific configurations and/or customizations.
  • Evaluates configuration options to leverage PeopleSoft-delivered functionality.
  • Identifies required customizations to PeopleSoft HCM and GP to meet business requirements.
  • Maps requirements to test scripts and validates not only documented requirements but validates current functionality against identified business processes and test scenarios.
  • Works closely with technical resources to map functional design to technical design.
  • Documents business processes and requirements.
  • Provides support with system and regression testing.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years PeopleSoft HCM and GP
  • 3+ years as PeopleSoft Lead Analyst or Developer
  • DoD experience (required)
  • Retirements & Annuitants experience (desired)
  • Experience working in an AGILE environment (desired)
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with both the technical team and customers in a virtual environment

Clearance Requirement:

  • Public Trust, IT2 or Secret Clearance
