  • The Document Manager I shall providedocument management services for the Security Exchange Commission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • File, retrieve and copy file materials; toinclude but not limited to creating binders (i.e. Witness binders);
  • Assist in preparing deposition and trialexhibits;
  • Enters data on-line to case files and/or other SECdatabases;
  • Proofread, edit, correct text files createdusing Optical Character Recognition (OCR) programs such as Adobe Acrobat;
  • Retrieve documents from microfilm and digitalimage media; tabs, numbers, labels, assembles documents;
  • Fill out log sheets and reports on task progress;and may perform quality control on the work of peers in all of theseareas.
  • Prepare documents for image scanning; performsother document collection related activities, including document screening, andlabeling of files to be scanned.
  • Performs simple and/or complex databasesearches.
  • Otherduties as assigned

MinimumQualifications: (Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Four-year degree, Master’s degree,and/or certification(s) in a related labor category field from an accreditedcollege, university, school or educational institution that has been accreditedby accrediting bodies or organizations recognized by the US Department ofEducation
  • Three (3) years of relevanttechnical experience.

Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:

  • Must be able to work effectively inan extremely pressured environment.
  • Must have and use excellent oraland written communications skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft2010 or newer programs.
  • Abilityto provide favorable credit history

  • Whileperforming the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sitand talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

  • Theemployee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment,with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
  • Duringvisits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weatherconditions. Is occasionally exposed tofumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
