Divison Manager

We are actively searching for qualified candidates for this potential opening. We do not have assurance at this time that the position will be opened and when. This position is contingent upon contract award. Jacobs Technology is looking for Division Manager in the San Diego, California area.
The Division Manager should have specific experience gained through Fleet operational or Range events with current Fleet systems including weapons, sensors, emitters, platforms, countermeasures, and fire control; and with Fleet tactics and training requirements for the employment of these systems.

Specific experience with the principles of underwater acoustic tracking systems, electronic warfare systems, surface and air tracking systems and communications systems.

Experience in the management of technical and professional personnel in a Navy range environment.

Experience in the management of government services contracts in such areas as: program planning, work/delivery order administration, program status reporting, financial management, monitoring and reporting, and program coordination and scheduling.
Experience with government rules, regulations and administrative processes involved with engineering support services, including government contract reporting requirements.

BS/BA in Engineering, Management, or an acceptable alternative and Eight (8) years' experience.
Must be able to acquire and hold a Secret Security Clearance Qualification
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work at a computer, desk for extended periods. Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of employees and customers.
With the exception of approved leave and holidays, attendance is mandatory. This position is expected to be on-site during all regular business hours.
Other Essential Functions
Must take and pass a drug test and background check. Must have/maintain appropriate security clearance as may be required. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be willing to travel as-needed.
