Disability Support Worker Level III with TS/SCI clearance

Job Description

Performs non-routine administrative and analytical tasks in one or more business support functions within the organization.


Position overview:

Provide support to Government employees with disabilities to enable them to accomplish daily work functions, to include note taking, document handling, processing and administrative operations, personal assistance with computer use like mouse navigation, lifting material like charts and maps, and assistance with using the phone, printer and other machines. May need to be attend training (onsite and/or offsite) with the Government employee to provide similar support. Experience and demonstrated competency performing personal assistance duties. Comprehensive computer knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office programs. Additional skills include the following: briefing skills, project management, organizational skills, and communication skills. General understanding of, or ability to learn, NGA, its mission, products, and internal/external customers, as is familiarity with NGA specific applications and methods like PeopleSoft and GEOINT analysis software.


1. Performs non-routine administrative and analytical tasks in one or more business support functions within the organization, including contracts, facilities planning, finance, logistics, property management, purchasing and/or security.


2. May perform tasks relative to the control of company and/or government property assigned to the organization.


3. May perform facilities planning activities, including coordinating the storage and movement of furniture, systems, and equipment.


4. May act as facility security officer to ensure compliance with company, customer and government security regulations and procedures.


5. May maintain financial databases, analyze data, and develop reports.


6. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced administrative staff.


7. Participates in special projects as required.

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.




5-8 years of related administrative and analytical experience.
