Supply Chain Product Line Director

Job Description:

Reporting directly to the RMS vice president of Supply Chain, the Product Line Supply Chain Director will serve as a key member of the product line leadership team and partner to the Product Line VP. The selected leader will be accountable for creating a vision and implementing a supply chain strategy which will ensure the delivery of quality, compliant supplier hardware, on-time, every time, and ultimately the success of the product line.

This role will require a seasoned leader who can create a strong team of Material Program Management (MPM) professionals architecting innovative supply chain strategies and creative business arrangements with suppliers/partners, and will be empowered to exercise substantial judgment in the business matters affecting the product line. Responsibilities include:

·Acting as a key member of the Team of Five (To5), who is responsible and accountable for the supply chain execution of the program.

·Collaborating with all members of the product line leadership team, including Program Leadership, Finance, Contracts, Operations, Quality, and Business Development, to ensure the success of the product line.

·Collaborating with the RMS Supply Chain leadership team in order to ensure the development and execution of innovative Supply Chain solutions for the product line.

·Instilling a culture within the product line supply chain organization towards strategic thinking; becoming strategic business architects for the supply chain element of the product line.

·Passionately developing future leaders within their organization, to include establishing supply chain leadership at the product line off-site locations - large scale integration center in Louisville, KY and Raytheon Albuquerque in Albuquerque.

·Acting with leadership courage; hiring, developing, inspiring and mentoring talent to create a high performance culture.

·Displaying effective communication and leadership behaviors during times of change.

Required Skills/Experience:

·14+ years' experience; preferably in managing and leading a team of professionals in a large regulated industry. Aerospace and Defense sector experience preferred.

·Demonstrated strong analytical abilities; ability to plan, control and direct activities and resources.

·Proven leader in a matrix organization.

· Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.

Desired Skills:

·Experience creating and managing major contracts or sub-contracts.

·Exemplary oral and written communication skills; ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others; keen attention to detail.

·Ability to build and maintain effective relationships based on mutual respect with peers, customers, suppliers, and team members.

·Proven technical and programmatic skills desired.

·Strategic mindset and ability to manage complexity.

·Ability to determine the best solution to difficult, high stakes issues and drive to the root cause.

·Ability to drive results in an overall achievement mindset. A bias for action and eagerness to take the initiative.

Required Education:

•Minimum Bachelor's Degree required. Master’s degree and/or additional professional certifications desired.
