About this Role

 

In this role, you will be a member of a team tasked with creating and maintaining an efficient development and release environment to support military system development. In this atmosphere, we use agile development approaches to create automated and semi-automated solutions to a diverse set of problems to support the software development and release process. The successful candidate will support software development processes and infrastructure for both embedded and desktop software development activities. This mix of software products comes with multiple challenges, and we are looking for creative individuals to define and implement solutions to improve and accelerate our product development, testing, and release tooling and processes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

 

·         BS degree and 5+ years of related experience

 

Responsibilities

 

·         Work with development and support teams to understand needs and propose solutions

  • Develop software and scripts to support automated builds, automated testing, continuous integration and deployment
  • Develop innovative solutions for tool interoperability and process improvements
  • Integrate and automate static code analysis tools
  • Configure and manage build servers and assist in transitioning to container technologies
  • Configure and manage issue tracking and agile development tracking systems 

Required Skills

 

  • Collaborative style, excellent communication skills, comfortable reaching across functional borders 
  • Ability to code and script
  • Experience with systems and IT operations
  • Strong grasp of automation tools including test automation
  • Familiar with agile development approaches and tools
  • Experience with Python, Jenkins, SVN, Git 

Desired Skills

 

  • Docker
  • C++ or other object oriented language
  • Visual Studio 

Clearance

 

  • Must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance. Current SECRET clearance preferred.
