Raytheon is seeking a talented and passionate DevOps Pipeline Architect to join our DevOps Transformation Team. As a Pipeline Architect, you will be responsible for supporting our team and programs in their journey to adopt DevOps and Agile methodologies as a new way of working. As the DevOps Pipeline architect you will lead the development of Automated Deployment Pipeline processes utilizing automation/configuration management toolset such as VSTS, Chef, Puppet or an equivalent, as well as PowerShell scripts, and custom code solutions.
As the Pipeline architect, you will lead in developing the solutions architecture, designing automation templates for infrastructure provisioning, configuration change management, as well as the detailed technical design.
The Pipeline architect will also manage the programs SDLC, utilizing Scrum methodologies and standard DevOps tools. You will be expected to lead and influence the programs and DevOps Dojo personnel across the entire product lifecycle: Proposal, Development, Integration, and Formal Sell-Off.

• Lead and support Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) and DevOps transformation initiatives under the guidance of the configuration manager/architect.
• Coach and mentor DevOps personnel and engineers in the best practices of pipeline architecture.
• Provide hands-on guidance to the DevOps Teams and programs in automating manual release/build related activities utilizing DevOps principles.
• Develop best practices for infrastructure as code (e.g.: Puppet, Shell scripting), software build tools (Maven, ANT, etc.) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.).
• Provide configuration management support for all DevOps personnel and programs facilitating all build and deployment activities.

Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance and US Citizenship required.
• Hands-on experience using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby)
• Hands-on experience writing code for one or multiple of the following: Puppet / Chef / Ansible / Saltstack
10+ years developing software, including experience in a lead position
• Hands-on experience leading and supporting technical deep dives into infrastructure, databases, and application. Specifically in designing, coding, operating, and supporting high-performance, highly available services and infrastructure
• Hands-on experience leading concepts and principles behind DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Agile, Lean, etc.
• Hands-on experience leading mission-critical applications (e. g. incident and outage management)
Working knowledge of Azure Services, especially ARM templates
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code approach and toolsets
Experience leading instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, and responding relative to performance and availability of applications
Experience leading firewall, router and network infrastructure device management.
Familiarity and comfort with tools used in a continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline is critical.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Hands-on experience with uDeploy a plus
• Hands-on experience leading the use of DevOps tools to deliver and operate end-user services (e. g., Chef, New Relic, AlertSite, etc.
Operational experience supporting a 99.99% availability a plus
10+ Years of experience with a B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information systems or related field.
