As a DevOps engineer on our team, you’ll help streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open source tools, automation, and Cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best – innovate. You’ll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to build your experience with infrastructure automation, Cloud-based development, container orchestration while developing software that will enable agile delivery of grants management applications. Build your experience with the software development life cycle on a team that works together to make the best software solutions. Coordinate all development and operations tasks and establish the project's DevOps practices, including version control, branching and merging strategies, continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline design, test-driven development approach, software quality, such as code reviews and code scanning, secure coding best practices, and Section 508 compliance. Coordinate with the platform lead in the implementation of the CI and CD pipeline and the development and implementation of the project's container strategy, including Docker and Kubernetes. Coordinate with the test lead in the development and implementation of the project's test automation strategy and serve as the primary point of contact for the customer's development and operations stakeholders.

You Have:
-7+ years of experience with IT
-3+ years of experience with leading development and operations teams in the implementation of Agile and DevSecOps practices
-Experience with executing projects using one or more Agile frameworks, including Scrum or Kanban
-Experience with integrating custom solutions written in Java with COTS products
-Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, and Git
-Knowledge of modern architectures and software development practices, including microservices, CI and CD, Clouds, containers, infrastructure-as-code, and test automation
-Active Top Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:
-Experience with developing and deploying applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
-Experience with developing solutions using multiple database platforms, including Oracle
-Experience in working with product owners, analysts, testers, and developers to develop user stories and acceptance criteria
-Experience with configuring JIRA and SonarQube
-Experience with Agile estimation techniques, including story points
-Knowledge of advanced configuration management techniques using tools that include Git
-Ability to lead discussions with diverse audiences, including users, analysts, developers, and testers
-Agile or DevOps Certification, including ICAgile
