Desktop Support Technician

ECS is seeking Desktop Support Technician to work in our Charleston, SC office.  

Job Description:
The Desktop Support Technician (CO II) shall perform duties as assigned such as:

  • Imaging assets, Adding & Removing systems from the site OU in Active Directory, Issuing Bit locker Recovery Keys, and Utilization of the Remedy ITSM Ticket System to manage end user Tickets.
  • The COII may also perform basic IT tasks such as setting up new systems, copying user data, troubleshooting basic issues and elevating tickets to the next Tier when needed.

Required Skills:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • 2+ years of experience in computer systems and operations.
  • 1 year of practical experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capable of typing 40 words per minute.
  • IAT II approved Certification such as CompTia Security+ CE.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with the Remedy Ticket System.
  • Experience with Active Directory.
