JOB DESCRIPTION | |||||||
SOSi is a seeking a qualified Deputy Project Manager to join our program and assist the SAMS Program Management Office (PMO) and the Bureau of Administration with project management duties to support the delivery of billions of dollars of annual international assistance to non-profit organizations and other recipients. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES • The successful candidate will support the management of a support desk, training staff, reporting team, as well as consult on design, build and test of IT solutions, business case and process analysis, communications and change management efforts, and other duties in support of the SAMS PMO. SOSi is looking for a driven leader who is a strategic and creative problem-solver, analytical thinker, management adviser, successful relationship manager and team builder, and will deliver outstanding client support with a diligent work ethic and strong written and oral communication skills. • Due to the nature of our Customer, U.S. Citizenship is required, as is an active Secret level Security Clearance. • You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert on federal assistance and the domestic and overseas State Assistance Management Systems for Department of State users and members of the public and interact with many other Department stakeholders essential to the operations and maintenance of SAMS and associated systems involved in the federal assistance lifecycle. |

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS | |||||||
•The Deputy Project Manager must have at least ten years of experience in information and financial system design and implementation and two years project management experience. Preferred candidates will be pursuing their Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification. • Software System Application background • BA degree in Business, CIS, or similar • Prior Federal Government experience • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance – Already Cleared is a plus • Excellent Customer Service skills • Excellent Organizational skills • Excellent technical and business writing • Ability to work in a positive, fast paced environment • Expert knowledge of MS Office product suite, SharePoint, content and knowledge management systems |
