Deputy Program Manager

National Services Business Group has an immediate opening for a highly-organized and skilled Deputy Program Manager-Workforce Management to lead our mission-driven PMO team on a very large Intelligence Community services contract. This role is based and responsible for varied locations in Northern Virginia and offers the opportunity to work with a team of seasoned staffing, technical, and program management professionals who thrive on supporting our client's mission and growth objectives. This is a vital coordination component around which program administration revolves.


Responsibilities:

o    Manage/lead multiple Projects from initiation, contract award, transition, execution, growth and decrement, and contract close out.

o    Develop strong relationships with customers to understand their needs, to anticipate obstacles to success, and to advocate internally on their behalf

o    Regularly track projects, manage project risks and impact of changes, provide mitigation plans, proactively manage escalation of issues to appropriate stakeholders, and manage mission creep.

o    Review project team deliverables to ensure quality and adherence to internal and government standards

o    Work with recruiters and program personnel for requisitions development, management and interview coordination and skills verification.

o    Oversee staffing process, working with multiple stakeholders to ensure sufficient candidates are identified, vetted and onboarded efficiently. Track staffing actions for contract, utilizing program-developed tools to provide accurate and timely updates.

o    Manage relations with sub-contractors for submission and execution of Sub-K labor.

o    Provide weekly and monthly metrics for reporting to senior management and customers using MS Excel and other tools.

o    Perform tasks requiring the collection, evaluation, and data analysis on official documents, records, forms, reports, plans, policies, and regulations as needed.

o    Develop and continuously enhance processes to improve submittal package quality, optimize process efficiency and maximize candidate throughput.

o    Establish and maintain positive relationships with partners, vendors, managers, and employees enabling enhanced communication around all staffing activities.

o    Other duties as assigned.

Required:

o    Oversee recruitment process including sourcing, vetting, training and placement

o    Participate in on-boarding and off-boarding of project team members, coordinating start dates, crossovers, security briefings, departure dates, departure paperwork etc.

o    Perform tasks requiring the collection, evaluation, and data analysis on official documents, records, forms, reports, plans, policies, and regulations as needed.

o    Manage small projects related to workforce management and program staffing.

Education requirements:

Candidate must have one of the following:

o    10 Years of job related experience and relevant Bachelors Degree

     

Desired:

o    Program Management certification

o    Advanced degree

o    Experience in managing contracts within this customer space.

o    Experience with Workday or other project management tools

o    SharePoint 2013
