The Intelligence group provides high-end systems engineering and integration products and services, data analytics and software development to national and military intelligence customers. Responsibilities

This is a Deputy PM role on a contract with over 300 FTEs, including staff members from over 50 subcontractors. The Deputy PM will be responsible for assuming the PM responsibilities in the absence of the PM, and assisting the PM in managing cost, schedule, and performance of the contract. Serves as an alternate point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the Contractor’s senior management. Directly contributes to program efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities. Ensures proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the contract. The Deputy PM shall utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical and program documents.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 12 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 19 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
  • Shall have at least 5 years of experience performing in technical leadership role or in program management.
  • Shall have at least 10 or more years of experience supporting programs and projects within our customer space.
  • Shall have at least 4 years of experience in a supervisory capacity and previous experience with technical task management including task development, customer/stakeholder relationship building, cost & schedule management, and staffing.
  • Shall have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting.
  • Position requires an experienced personnel manager with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Individual must be responsive, flexible, and able to work independently.
  • Shall be knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 801 policies.
