Job Description:
The Logistics Support section within the Mission Support Department is looking for an Engineering Logistics Specialist to contribute to a fast paced innovative team and work closely with Whole Life Systems Engineering (WLSE) Functional Management and Program Leadership on the Miniature Air Launched Decoy (MALD) Program. This position, Depot Coordinator, reports to the Sustainment Manager, who integrates all the sustainment activities to include depot, field logistics, stockpile management and program office/customer interfacing. In this role, the individual will manage a depot with warranty and non-warranty repair requirements and manage Government Furnished Material (GFM) in support of the MALD-Navy (MALD-N) development program, the MALD US Air Force (USAF) sustainment program, and other MALD projects and demos. In addition, the Depot Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the MALD Logistics Team, the Integration and Test team and the Production Control team by providing repair status, assisting with the movement of MALD GFM within the factory, and among storage sites and by providing shipping, receiving and general logistics support. Specific Depot Coordinator tasks include but are not limited to
  • Analyze contract and program requirements to establish and communicate priorities for depot work in process (WIP); Collaborate with multiple factories as necessary
  • Control Depot WIP levels and provide performance status within the program.
  • Manage the overall flow of hardware to and from the maintenance facility
  • Perform physical inventory and verification of inventory within Factory/ Lab, as needed
  • Preparation of Basis of Estimate (BOE) proposal input
  • Whole Life System Engineering capabilities Cross-Product Team leadership extending beyond ILS and Training to Reliability Modeling and Safety

Required Skills:
  • 4+ years of Logistics experience in Depot/Warranty GFM management
  • Existing Secret Clearance
  • Experience in a logistics organization with the desire to grow
  • Experience working with factory teams to set priorities and goals to complete Warranty and non-Warranty activities
  • Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) requirements
  • Experience in reading and understanding engineering drawings
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Experience with USAF and Navy Logistics and FMS/DCS
  • HAZMAT Shipping (DOT & IATA), willingness to obtain DOT/IATA HAZMAT shipping inspection certification

Desired Skills:
  • Technical / Engineering background
  • Depot/Warranty and/or Factory experience
  • Proficient in the use of Raytheon PRISM transactions - concerning Depot, Warranty (IE. Delivery travelers, GFM movement (Internal/External) GFM reports, and Raytrak),
  • Familiarity with PRISM depot and PRISM iMRO processes
  • Familiarity and experience in using Raytheon Common As-built System (CABS) application for GFM management
  • Familiarity with the Common PDM (Product Data Management) system

Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Organizational Management, or other related fields

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
