Raytheon is seeking a talented and passionate Deployment Expert to join our DevOps Transformation Team. As a Deployment Expert, you will be responsible for supporting our team and programs in their journey to adopt DevOps and Agile methodologies as a new way of working. You will viewed as a leader providing technical coordination and management of release, deployment and environment build related activities required to facilitate multiple releases between production and pre-production environments with an agile and DevOps approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and manage the deployment schedule starting with pilot sites leading up to full deployment
Create and maintain a go-live plan; this includes comprehensive checklist(s) and detailed tasks incorporated into an Integrated Master Schedule
• Coach and mentor DevOps personnel and engineers in the best practices of program deployment.
• Provide hands-on guidance of environment provisioning activities through an iterative and phased delivery model
• Lead and work closely with the Dojo members and program personnel to understand impacts of branches and code merges as well as environment set up activities.
Work with the Configuration team to maintain a release repository; manage key artifacts to include build and release procedures and dependencies
Coordinate deployment activities as it relates to standing up and supporting a Help Desk; Tier I, II and III
Provide release, environment provisioning, and deployment status reporting to leadership team
• Provide hands-on Risk and Issue mitigation and escalation guidance to DevOps personnel and programs

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance and US Citizenship required.
Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and deployment/operational considerations
• Excellent Project management and analytical skills
Ability to work with cross functional teams and program personnel
10 years of experience with build configuration, deployment/release management including experience as a deployment manager
• Hands-on experience executing deployment plans for large scale implementation projects
Extensive knowledge of continuous delivery, continuous integration practices with experience implementing them at enterprise scale
Strong hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
Experience establishing, implementing, and delivering using Agile practices
Experience working in a DevOps culture
Experience guiding highly technical engineering personnel and teams
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer and cross-business relationships
• Very strong organizational and teaming skills

DESIRED SKILLS:
Experience in software product development, full stack and multi-platform
Experience building teams and leading strategic change initiatives
REQUIRED EDUCATION (including Major):
10+ Years of experience with a B.S. /B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
