The Cyber Systems Analysis Department Manager is a keyleadership position within the Infrastructure Assurance & Analysis Division(IAA). In this role you’ll be expected to help advance strategic objectivesthat position IAA to exceed customer expectations, grow business, and attract,retain, and develop employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall performance of the Cyber SystemsAnalysis Team which includes the strategic guidance and execution of departmentinitiatives, operational execution, and human capital management. Work closelywith the Division Director and other Division Leadership to define and balanceexternal program priorities and internal management priorities while ensuringappropriate controls are formally defined for the execution of project and programwork.

Provide leadership, guidance, oversight and direction fordirect reports and staff. Included inthis is the responsibility to monitor and provide feedback on employeeperformance, provide growth opportunities, and execute disciplinary actions. Ensurethe department is adequately staffed with trained personnel and will seek todevelop a talent pipeline through mentoring, career development opportunities,and succession planning. Will set individual performance goals and providetimely feedback. Open and informal communication to develop mutual trust andteamwork is essential

Responsible for the execution of the core capabilitieswithin the department and for building resource capabilities that enable growthin core competency areas. Work with theother Divisional Leadership and Programs and Capabilities Leads to set strategyand allocate resources within approved budgets for assigned businessdevelopment efforts and strategic initiatives. Establish a work culture that isaligned with INL mission, vision and values.

Responsible to work with the Division Director to develop,monitor, and maintaining the department’s budget(s), schedule(s), andscope. Works with program and projectmanagers within the division/department to ensure project objectives andschedules are met, customer relationships are nurtured and developed, and workis performed on time and within budget. Engage strategically with internal and external organizations to establishHSD as an indispensable resource for DHS in assessments, resilience, andincident response.


Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) "Q" Security Clearance

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant experience or Advanced Degree and 8 years

Preferred candidates will have:

Demonstrated experience in leading organizations or programs associated with critical infrastructure resilience and security assessments that may include cyber and physical assessments at the facility and/or regional level.

Working knowledge of government agencies, policies and regulations associated with the protection of critical infrastructure life-line sectors (i.e., energy, water, transportation, communications, and emergency services).
