Data Science Intelligence Tradecraft Analyst

Key Role:

Draft expert quantitative and qualitative analytic assessments that leverage advanced analytic tradecraft across collection, linked knowledge, and analysis systems. Develop advanced analytic methods to assess the IC's state of collection, analysis, posture, and progress against intelligence information needs. Provide support, reviews, analysis, and feedback on evaluation-related issues. Assist with the development and maintenance of databases and automated diagnostic tools to manage, connect, and combine information in object-based production and activity-based intelligence related data stores. Assist with the development and maintenance of databases and automated tools to extract, analyze, and visualize data from various IC databases in support of assessments of IC performance in analysis and collection. Recommend innovative solutions to data extraction, storage, search, and analysis challenges based on best practices from the industry and IC.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with data collection and analysis
-1+ years of experience with working in the intelligence community
-Experience with drafting clear and concise products describing complex data and analysis
-Experience with generating reports, charts, and plots of distributions and trends, descriptive statistics, and complex statistical analyses
-Experience with developing custom database scripts, queries, and graphical interfaces related to IC priority or requirement management systems
-Experience with conducting data extraction, parsing, manipulation, and storage, and quantitative and qualitative analysis based on a large volume of data from various IC databases

-Knowledge of descriptive statistics, regression, and classification models
-Knowledge of IC Cloud services and designing IC solutions based on user requirements
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree or 9 years of experience with data collection and analysis

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with drafting evaluation reports using enterprise data integration and metrics
-Experience with applying quantitative and qualitative analytic methods, including the design, development, and management of statistical models and enterprise-wide evaluations
-Experience with machine learning enabled tools and techniques

-Knowledge of intelligence priority topics and the supporting intelligence information needs

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:
