Cybersecurity and Special Missions (CSM) Strategy Leader

CSM Strategy Lead
The Cybersecurity and Special Missions (CSM) Strategy Leader will focus on development of strategic options, priorities and detailed strategy-to-action planning for this mission area within the Intelligence, Information, and Services (IIS) business. The CSM Strategy Lead will also be responsible for aligning the CSM specific strategy with the overall IIS strategy. Specially, this position provides analysis and strategic leadership enabling the organization to understand important quantitative and qualitative factors in the development of business and portfolio analysis, key customer and competitor needs, and other overall market and technical environment analysis. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Addressable market sizing and forecasting

  • Competitive intelligence
  • Portfolio analysis and return on investment analysis
  • Strength and gap analysis, technical and non-technical
  • Customer insights, working in partnership with CSM Business Development organization
  • Investment plan alignment, working with the CSM Solutions Team
  • Technology accelerators and disruptors, working with CSM Solutions Team

The candidate must demonstrate proven experience in working across a highly-matrixed team environment, excel at interpersonal communication, and be able to present complex and dynamic concepts in a clear, concise and focused manor to senior executives. Routine interface with senior leaders within IIS and Raytheon Company is expected.
Required Skills and Experiences:
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic planning and business development
  • Ability to work in a demanding and dynamic environment
  • Strong understanding of Intel Community mission operations
  • Experience analyzing presidential budgets and working within US government budgeting cycles and process
  • Demonstrated knowledge of associate contractors and the competitive landscape
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, coordination, planning, analytical, teaming and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and articulate business cases and influence Sr. Leadership to support and fund plans.
  • Ability to understand and create accurate business and strategic models for financial performance, costs and cost drivers, revenues and margin, risks and opportunities, competitive analysis, and return on investment of strategic alternatives
  • Bachelor degree in technology, business or related field required
  • Travel required (at least 25%)
Desired Skills and Experiences
  • Ability to determine, through experience professional insight, and business acumen to assess achieve strategy to action business opportunities
  • Knowledge of Front End of the Business processes and Capture and Pursuit processes
  • Lead collaboration across Raytheon to fully leverage capability of business and support functions
  • Master’s degree preferred
