Cybersecurity Analyst

Sentar is currently seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our commercial team and support a government contract on site in Columbus, OH. The analyst will provide subject matter expertise with building and migrating applications, software and services on AWS platforms. This is a contract or contract-to-hire opportunity.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Educate Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) of all sizes, participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful, secure deployment in the cloud 
  • Develop and conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS
  • Build professional relationships with senior technical individuals within CSP organizations to facilitate their path to accreditation.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and Commercial team to assist with developing FedRAMP Documentation Package
  • Position requires on location work in Columbus, OH.

 

  • 5+ years’ experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A), following National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Technical writing experience to assist with documenting security controls according to FedRAMP requirements.
  • 2+ years’ experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking 
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies 
  • Technical degree required; Computer Science or Math background highly desired 
  • Following certifications:
  • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)  
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Secret level security clearance

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience using and adapting to new technologies 
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS 
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers 
  • Strong written communication skills 
  • High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
