Cyber Systems Engineer 3

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is actively recruiting a mid/senior level Cyber System Engineering team member to support an exciting new Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Security program.
This position will entail working with our experienced engineering team developing industry leading virtual environments to support emerging DoD Cyber efforts. These environments will be detailed engineering representations of current and future cyber systems.
We're looking for a highly motivated, team oriented, individual with the ability to communicate / coordinate technical requirements directly with the customer and distributed team members.

We support government cyber test and evaluation environments through the development of virtual machines in a virtual environment design using VMware, VSphere and other virtual machine support software

Basic Qualifications:

Mid/senior level systems engineering who possesses an in-depth knowledge of principles, concepts and techniques for cyber systems.
We arelooking for hands-on systems engineer that can serve as Subject Matter Experts (SME) in one or more of the below skills:
Windows System Engineering: (i.e. Systems Administration, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, implementing DoD requirements on servers and workstations, etc.)
Linux Engineering: (i.e. different Linux varieties (e.g. RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu), security hardening, patching, granular role-based access, implementing DoD requirements, automation of repetitive tasks, etc.)
Virtual Engineering: (i.e. VMware vCenter/ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V, advanced virtual networking, ability to deploy high volume configurations, implement a VDI environment, etc.)
Network Engineering: (i.e. all layers of OSI model, configure of large scale networks with routing protocols, ability to packet capture and conduct detailed analysis, ACL, firewall networking, security patching, OS updates, etc. Familiar with Cisco, Juniper or Brocade.)
DevOps Engineering: (i.e. program and script in various languages including C, perl, python, powershell, etc. Automation of scheduled jobs to reduce labor intensive tasks. Cross-platforming of applications on various OSs.
Education:

Bachelor's Degree inaTechnical Field and five (5) years of experience. Four (4) years of additional systems engineering experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Security Clearance:
An active TS/SCIclearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with network design, virtual environments and cyber systems design is preferred.
DODM 8570.01 certifications at IAT/IAM/IASAE Level 2 or 3 are preferred (examples: Security+, Network +, CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, CISSP, etc).
