Counterintelligence Specialist (Polygraph Required)

Job Description

Candidate will support sponsor in executing elements of multi-faceted programs to support dynamic mission sets. Candidate should be familiar with Network Engineering with a focus on Counterintelligence (CI) experience and skills. Candidate will support sponsor's overall CI threat analysis efforts by performing technical assessments on IT infrastructure components, malicious code, and Advance Persistent Threat capabilities as they relate to computer networking. Candidate should be versed in the many/all of the following:

 

* Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional      or inadvertent access or destruction

* RF Communications (terrestrial and satellite)
* Working knowledge of security and CI concerns related to data management
* Familiarity with operational technologies that supports sponsor equities
* Experience assessing technologies and software to identify and determine the security and CI issues/concerns
* Exposure to computer network defense operations (proxy, firewalls, IDS/IPS)
* Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
* Experience with WiFi technologies to include 802.11 a/b/g/n
* Experience with forensic tools to include Wireshark, FTK, Parabem, Helix, FireEye, ILook
* Experience working with Windows based platforms
* Excellent communications in both verbal and written form. Ability to brief technical content to a non-technical audience
* Local travel between buildings to support various meetings

 

Required skills/experience: Background and skills that translate to technical support in one or more of a wide range of RF technologies to include; terrestrial and space based RF communications, government and commercial satellite systems, commercial cellular and wireless, and embedded software/firmware development. Familiarity with computer security, authentication and cryptography; understanding of operational technologies.

 

Desired skills/experience: Macintosh OS, mobile technologies, programming experience in Java, C, C++, Perl, Python or Enscripts; experience with LINUX/UNIX; forensic tools such as Wireshark, FTK, FireEye, etc.; computer networks and technologies

 

Desired certifications: MSCE, MCITP, Forensic tools

Education

BA/BS in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience

Qualifications

15+ years of related experience
