Cyber Intelligence Analyst

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) seeks a Cyber Intelligence Analyst to support Air Combat Command A3/2/6/K activities. This position supports ARA’s U.S. Air Force customer at Langley AFB, with cyber intelligence related products, and provide expertise to identify gaps in organizational communications and processes. The Cyber Intelligence Analyst will advise client on strategy and policy to develop capabilities, programs, and training, support ACC’s efforts to organize, train, and equip multiple functions and capabilities including offensive and defensive cyber, information warfare, electronic warfare, and intelligence to achieve air-space superiority. In addition, the Cyber Intelligence Analyst will support the units outreach to Higher Headquarters, Numbered Air Forces, and other MAJCOMs. The candidate must be capable of briefing the products to senior leadership and performing technical tasks independently, and must possess a willingness to learn new techniques to accomplish tasks through research and self-study.

Required Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in a related discipline
  • 7-9 years relevant work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Very detailed oriented
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office

Desired Experience

  • 1-2 years on any Air Force Staff
  • Cyber Analyst Course
  • Security+

Experience Required
  • 7 - 9 years: Relevant work experience
Preferred
  • 1 - 2 years: Air Force Major Command experience
  • 2 - 3 years: Cyber Intelligence experience
Education Required
  • Bachelor of Arts or better
