Perspecta has an immediate need for a Cyber Application Developer (TESA Position) in Wiesbaden, Germany.

The Cyber Application Developer  responsibilities shall include:

Description:

  • Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
  • Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
  • Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
  • Ensures software standards are met.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Current U.S. TS/SCI clearance required (IT-1) or ICD 706 eligibility.
  • Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics. Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of specialized experience, or an associate's degree plus 7 years of specialized experience, or a major certification plus 7 years of specialized experience, or 11 years of specialized experience.
  • DoD 8570.01-M, IA workforce certification: IAT-II

Specialized Certification: 

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), or Red Hat Certified JBoss Developer (RHCJD), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

Specialized Experience:

  • Experience in designing, developing, testing, and implementing software solutions to meet cyber network defense security requirements and to support network intrusion monitoring on information systems and networks.
  • Experienced in coding, testing, troubleshooting, and installing the operating systems or programs to support data analysis requirements.
  • Experienced in preparing charts and diagrams to assist in metrics analysis and problem evaluation, and submitting recommendations for software solutions.
  • Experience in evaluating software solutions to improve cyber network defense analysis system capabilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • General frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned
  • Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.
  • Works under general supervision.
