Cryptologic ISR Policy Lead

Key Role:

Provide analytical support for the management of Air Force Cryptologic Office (AFCO) cryptologic ISR policy and compliance and cryptologic risk management and processes. Provide analysis to the AFCO leadership for the development, implementation, evaluation, and management of AFCO cryptologic policy and compliance and risk management programs. Evaluate the changes to cryptologic policy, compliance, and risk management policies, processes, procedures, and actions to AFCO leadership. Assist AFCO AF Service Cryptologic Component (SCC) cryptologic staff to identify and evaluate potential intelligence and cryptologic risks to help ensure informed decisions. Assist the AFCO staff to apply risk management assessments to all management functions, cryptologic policies, operations, activities, and recommendations. Ensure that risks are properly identified, documented, analyzed, and prioritized and mitigation plans are developed and implemented, when appropriate. Coordinate with national agency organizations, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with Air Force or DoD cryptologic and SIGINT operations

-Experience with group-level or higher Risk Management, Cryptologic Program Management, Cryptologic Oversight and Compliance, or Cryptologic Functional Management

-Experience with the national Intelligence Community, Joint, and DoD structures, organizations, missions, and functions 

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint

-Knowledge of AF and national cryptologic enterprise, structures, organizations, missions, and functions

-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-AA or AS degree or 7 years of experience with Air Force, DoD cryptologic or SIGINT operations in lieu of degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Air Force SIGINT policy

-Experience with Information Assurance orRisk Management Analysis

-Experience with Information assurance experience.

-Knowledge of DoD and Service policies, policy development, and staffing processes

-Knowledge of agency Risk Management Framework

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including

-Possession of excellent data research, analysis, and problem-solving skills with large amounts of disparate data sets from multiple sources to produce recommended courses of action 

-BA or BS degree

-Risk Management Fundamentals training
