Serve as a nationally recognized Critical Infrastructure Cyber Security Engineer. Perform cyber security engineering analyses of the nation’s critical infrastructure. Deliver professional advice, expertise, strategic insight, and other cyber-related consulting services to advance industrial control systems (ICS) cyber security for critical infrastructure.

Responsible for providing advice and expertise in cyber security designs, implementation, vulnerability identification, and mitigation techniques and procedures that will aid industry and the Nation in securing critical infrastructure systems against current and emerging threats.

Theorize, organize, react and participate in the assessment and incident response of critical infrastructure/OT systems to develop attack and defense methodologies for high risk ICS designs. Understand cyber security attack scenarios and techniques, including emerging technologies in order to provide advanced strategies, mitigation techniques, and cyber security system design concepts to advance the critical infrastructure cyber security posture of the nation.


Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) "Q" security clearance

As required, must be able to work in a secure work environment to include handling, storing and processing classified and CUI information. Must adhere to physical and electronic projection standards

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience includes designing or applying homeland security solutions in regional resilience or risk analysis

Demonstrated knowledge of critical infrastructure protection and resilience with emphasis on system design, mission and needs assessments, requirements identification and management and alternatives analyses

Experience in leading and working in an integrated product team. Must be able to interface effectively with Program Managers, Middle and Upper Management as well as DOE or DHS customer(s)
