Command, Control, and Communications Analyst

Key Role:
Support a DoD client with the execution of nuclear command, control, and communications (NC3) governance tasks, including achieving initial operational capability (IOC) and full operational capability and normalizing mission accomplishment. Apply comprehension of both quantitative and qualitative analyses and recommendations to improve organizational performance through changes to strategy, organization structure, and process. Support and enable synchronization and coordination with client forces and Joint elements assigned or tasked with the Cyber protection posture of the NC3 enterprise. Coordinate with client and Joint leadership to analyze future guidance for the future Cyber protection posture of the NC3 enterprise. Fuse operational performance data, communications system availability data, and intelligence from the intelligence community (IC) in coordination with the client while analyzing risk data to plan for the mitigation of vulnerabilities. Engage supporting agencies to accomplish incident management, including tracking and processing authorized service interruptions, tracking configuration and change management, and supporting problem management and tools management sections, such as data and information processing.

Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience with nuclear command and control (NC2) and NC3 capabilities and procedures, including their operation platforms, communications, and modes of operations, such as current efforts to develop survivable and endurable NC2 and NC3 capabilities
-7+ years of experience at the Combatant Command level, including participating in NC2 and NC3 forums, such as NC2 and NC3 and policy and procedure working groups
-5+ years of experience with advocacy support for relevant NC3 capability requirements at the Secret, Top Secret, and Sensitive Compartmented Information levels
-5+ years of experience with supporting Combatant Command-level administrative programs and providing operational support
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree or 7+ years of experience with NC3 at the Combatant Command level

Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of national, DoD, and Joint guidance, including emergency action procedures, and others applicable to NC3 operations and capabilities
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent listening skills

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
