Collective Training Exercise Specialist – Medical Planner/Integrator

Key Role:

Assist US Army training staff with developing training circulars, exercise directives, and exercise designs for Army directed collective training events. Coordinate with the Army Reserve staff and exercise project officers and multi-service medical organizations for proper assignment of units to support training exercise events based on doctrinal application of Army Reserve exercise template.

Assist units participating in Army Reserve, cross-component, and Joint sponsored medical exercises with developing training and exercise plans. Provide analytical and technical support to staff projects involving training and exercise requirements. Assist exercise Army Reserve action agents (UAAs) in planning and organizing Functional exercises and assist with exercise integration with combat support training program events. Coordinate with post-training site agencies to ensure agencies are aware of training exercise requirements and assist in resolving any conflicts identified, prior to exercise execution. Participate in exercise planning conferences to assist in production and validation of training plans and prepare briefings and other required materials as directed.

Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience with training, including providing training for combat arms, combat support, or combat service support organizations

-Experience in Army and Joint service medical operations, and training and exercise doctrine as it relates to reserve components

-Knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in supporting military sustainment operations

-Knowledge of military training, doctrine, planning, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and force structure to design exercises that meet doctrinal requirements

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

-Knowledge of force management system Website (FMS Web), combined arms training strategy (CATS), Army training network (ATN), digital training management system (DTMS), and Joint training information management system (JTIMS)

-BA or BS degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
