Client Systems Administrator, Mid

Key Role:
Apply expertise in analytical, advisory, technical, and analysis work to Air Force client activities. Maintain responsibility for ensuring the 24/7/365 continuity of classified and unclassified Mission Planning Cell (MPC) networks. Collaborate with a diverse team supporting MPC critical programs with information system capabilities in a mixed Windows- and UNIX-based environment. Maintain responsibility for developing, implementing, and maintaining secure, cost-efficient environment across various classified and unclassified programs within MPC facilities. Implement technical projects and sustain the operating capability of MPC IT systems in both Windows and UNIX environments. Provide daily system administration or maintenance support on Windows, UNIX, and UNIX-based environments. This position is located in Beale AFB, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience as a UNIX or Windows system administrator

-Knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, and UNIX

-Ability to work 24/7 shifts rotating between days, swings, and mids

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-DoD 8570 Compliance Certification, including Security+ CE, SSCP, or GSEC

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with IT program management

-Possession of excellent troubleshooting skills

-BS degree in CS or a related IT field

-CISSP Certification

-Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate or Certified IT Professional

-Server Administrator Certification, including 2008 or newer

Clearance:
