Client Support Admin/Executive Support Admin IRES - SAFB

This position is for a Client Support Admin/Executive Support Admin on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solution contract (IRES) located at Schriever AFB. This position will provide support to general customers and Senior Executive Service members, General Officers, Flag Officers, Military officers at the O-5 rank or higher and federal civil servants at the MDIOC. Duties include delivering end-to-end support in accordance with IT service level agreements and ensuring all incidents are analyzed, resolved, and reported back within the promised timeframes. Must be highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail; have creative problem-solving abilities; ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; work with minimal oversight; enjoy working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. The systems administrator also administers the operations of computer systems related to operating systems, servers, and end-user workstation. Although the administrator is not responsible for writing new application software, the administrator demonstrates understanding of how software behaves in order to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot systems. Additionally, the administrator researches new technologies and leverages optimization techniques to ensure that systems operate efficiently. System Administrators must understand the dependencies of other technical services running in the enterprise environment (i.e., system to service dependencies). Representative technical certifications at this level may include ITILv3, HDI, Microsoft A+ and Network+.


Basic Requirements: A High School diploma (or GED) with 8 years of general experience or an Associate's degree with 6 years of general experience or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years general experience; must include 4 years of related experience in business systems, operating systems, and servers and/or experience in light programming, project management of small initiatives, and troubleshooting and one relevant industry certification at the associate or professional level. Candidate must have an Acitve DoD Secret security clearance. Candidates must have completed and be enrolled in Continuing Education (CE) with a Security+ certification or other IAT level II 8570 compliant certification or above. This position may occasionally be required to work extended and/or non-prime hours. Travel may also be required.

Desired: Experience using Remedy software (Action Request System). Audio Visual, and VOIP Telephone equipment experience beneficial. Scripting: Power Shell, VBscript, or JavaScript a plus.
