Business Relations Manager IRES

As the Business Relations Manager supporting the Missile Defense Agency you will understand the customer's mission and their business capabilities and priorities. Establish, maintainand nurture thebusiness customer relationship; Define a communication and collaboration protocol that best suitsyour customers' needs. Capture and helpshape customer IT Service requirements/requests; Understand how their requirements aligns to current (and/orfuture) business capabilities. Collaborate with customers to facilitate the selection of standard services from the MDA Service catalog as well as assisting them with Non-standard Service Requests. Ensure overall customer satisfaction with the delivery of IT Services. Regularly measure customer satisfaction levels (via surveys) and identify steps to improve satisfaction levels. Serve as an escalation point to Enterprise IT Services (EITS) for high priority service incidents. Participate in the BRM Community of Practice (CoP) to regularly collaborate with fellow BRMs, sharing ideas, best practices, lessons learned, and establishing BRM standards. Acts as a role model. Delivers exceptional client service; maximizes results and drives high performance from people while fostering collaboration across businesses and borders. Influences clients, teams, and individuals positively, leading by example and establishing confident relationships with increasingly senior people. Understands key objectives for clients, aligns people to objectives and sets priorities and direction.


Basic Requirements: HS diploma (or GED) with 16 years general experience or an Associate's degree with 14 years general experience or a Bachelor's degree with 12 years general experience; must include 8 years directly related specialized experience in a Business or IT management role. Strong communication, facilitation and negotiation skills. Must have an active DoD Secret clearance. Resumes must be submitted with application in order to be considered for the position. The successful candidate will be assigned as an employee for Jacobs or one of the following teammates companies: HX5, GCS, ERC, MEIT or Aerodyne.

Desired: Preferably served in a role that captured customer requirements and/or feedback and incorporated that input into service. Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills. Ability to effectively engage senior leaders. Able to influence stakeholders to balance competing interests for optimal outcomes.
