Business Process Analyst


SAIC has a requirement for a Business Process Analyst in College Park, MD! 

This associate will be responsible for performing the full range of traditional Business Analysis activities, but are typically focused upon requirements development and management. 

The Business Analysts will work directly with federal agency staff and stakeholders to elicit and document requirements (business, functional and / or non-functional) and to create other Business Analysis work products (such as process flow diagrams, use cases) as needed.


Education & Experience Requirements 

Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years or more experience; Master's degree and seven (7) years or more experience.  May accept experience in lieu of degree.

Desired Experience, Abilities, & Skills

  • Eight (8) years or more of relevant hands-on experience in a Business Analyst (BA) role.
  • Four (4) years or more experience running requirements elicitation meetings.
  • Able to resolve highly complex requirements conflicts through effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Works proactively to resolve issues.
  • Able to effectively present options and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Experience with requirements management and analysis tools.
  • Significant experience as a BA on an IT contract for a Federal agency.
  • Candidate should experience in both traditional and agile methodologies. 
  • Significant experience as a BA on a project that used the Agile Scrum methodology.
