You can look at metrics, identify risk indicators, and plan changes to keep the project within budget and on time while achieving goals successfully. What if you could use those project analysis skills to make a difference in Booz Allen's Commercial Cyber Capabilities team?  We have an opportunity for a project analyst to join our team as we expand Booz Allen’s footprint in the commercial marketplace.

On our team, you’ll monitor cost, schedule, and performance using tools like Tableau, Excel, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools and have regular interactions with Commercial’s senior leadership team, PMs, task leads, SMEs, business partners, and clients. The real power of project analysis comes from communication, so you’ll maintain responsibility for a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for the Commercial Cyber Capabilities team related to our current and future engagement portfolio, proposals, marketing, investment efforts, and capacity management and make experience-based recommendations for improvement to project leadership. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with project cost control or financial management and contract interpretation, budget development analysis, and administration of corporate projects, including financial data, analysis, and reconciliation of estimations versus actuals
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint
  • Ability to collect and analyze or interpret data from multiple sources and identify, research, and solve financial problems and program risks
  • Ability to manage work with minimal directions, multi-task and prioritize a workload in a fast-paced environment, and handle high volumes of work
  • Ability to build relationships across multiple teams
  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with using macros and advanced formulas in Excel for financial tracking, analysis, and reporting
  • Experience with proposal support, including responding to requests for proposal (RFPs) and supporting cost volume development for competitive procurements preferred
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization products focused on business intelligence and analytics
  • Possession of excellent data management, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
