Business Financial Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Leverage acquisition, cost, programming, and budget analysis expertise to provide strategic guidance to Navy program managers and help them address risks, develop solutions to systemic and long-standing challenges, and achieve mission success. Prepare reports on programs, budget analysis, and financial presentations to support the Navy client's programming and budgeting process, including their basis of estimates. Assist with the preparation of program and budget analysis, capabilities requests, point papers, briefing charts, spreadsheets, and memos within prescribed timelines for review and analysis. Assist with the interpretation of requests for data and facts and acquire, analyze, and prepare presentations of program and budget data for use in program decision-making. Assist with the analysis of funded requirements and execution history and the analysis and reporting of planned vs. actual requirements and funding. Analyze budget and financial planning to identify potential variances and support and maintain funding profiles for programs, projects, and contracts.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with budget planning, preparation, and execution for acquisition programs

-Experience with the preparation of reports that reflect programs or project status in the areas of cost, schedule, and performance

-Experience with PBIS, AUTODOC, STARS, Prisms, or Cobra

-Secret clearance

-HS Diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-2 years of experience with Navy

-Experience with Navy enterprise resource planning (ERP)

-AA or AS degree and 2 years of experience with finance or BA or BS degree

-Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or DAWIA Level I Certification in Business or Financial Management
