Responsibilities:

The budget analyst will participate in the planning analysis and execution of fiscal resources.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Monitoring and reporting on execution status by analyzing transactional information and preparing draft documentation to support budgetary actions
  • Support fiscal program builds, track budgetary legislative Acts and appropriation mandates, review and assess impacts to fiscal planning and budget execution that may result from legislative marks, organizational reprogramming, or policies
  • Conducting research and analysis to deliver reports and presentations
Qualifications:

Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance or other related field.
  • Five or more years of experience planning, executing, and tracking budgets.
  • Expert ability to gather financial information and manipulate spreadsheets to analyze and present data appropriately for financial decision makers.
  • Expert ability to work with financial systems for processing and tracking daily budget actions.
  • active TS/SCI w/ Poly
