Manage production control execution based on company procedures and management direction. Coordinate with internal/external customers, and other support organizations to facilitate work flow and ensure optimization of facilities, resources and equipment to ensure a high level of efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy in the execution of work schedule.

Participate in the Chair Daily Schedule and Work Management Weekly meetings to establish and coordinate execution schedules. Based on work completion, newly identified critical work needs, and resource conflicts, provide daily reallocation of resources, equipment and work, to enable successful completion of work. Facilitate a work environment that can identify, discuss and implement solutions to work execution problems.

Provide leadership in monitoring the status of work in progress, identifying problems and developing corrective actions as needed. Support development and analysis of performance indicators/measures to optimize facility and equipment use, and resource allocation in support of work completion.

Interface with Project Manager(s) on identification of conflicts and status of the PM's project, feedback on production control performance and lessons learned for future project considerations. Follow all aspects of work preparation to support the rolling schedule.

Coordinate with the assigned Work Week Manager (WWM) and department coordinators to verify work execution readiness for all weeks.

Provide leadership and foster a “teamwork” environment with all ATR Complex work groups. Facilitate solution to work execution issues.

Updates and maintains work order status in the scheduling software.

Maintain and publishes data base of identified work, so the Planners and Engineers can look at identified work that is in the planning and scheduling process.

Maintains System Heath codes and Operations focus codes for Production Control Organization. This includes scheduling of these items.

Provide leadership / ownership and be the subject matter expert for the interface software for the scheduling and planning programs.

Provides input for monthly metrics. Review data for trends that that need attention.

Work on any assigned organization special projects.

Develop and issue a Plan of the Week (POW) or Plan of the Day (POD) schedule when required to do so.


Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) "L" security clearance

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years or relevant work experience or Master's and 3 years. 15 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Relevant experience includes project management, nuclear facility operation/maintenance, engineering, or scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Primavera (P6) and Asset Suite Software

Knowledge of ATR operating systems and maintenance fundamentals
