Job Summary:
Candidate will perform the duties of an Electrical Engineer for acceptance test procedure (ATP) development, release, and support of test execution. Responsibilities will include subsystems analysis, test method selection, test planning, test equipment integration, test procedure development and maintenance, test setup conceptualization and execution, test data acquisition and analysis, and test reporting. Additionally, candidate will be responsible forreviewing test procedures written by peers and offering feedback and suggestions, developing a subject matter expert level of understanding in the area of aircraft electrical system testing procedures, processes, and standard practices, presenting to team leadership on occasion, performing the duties of this position with supervision, andactively participating withother test engineers in the performance of test failure troubleshooting and corrective action.
A successful applicant will demonstrate knowledge of electrical subsystem component design or testing,avionics, cable and wire harness test methods and thetypical electronics, cables, and connectorsused in the aerospace industry. Candidate must be able to work closely with engineers of the same and other disciplines, project leaders, and technicians supporting production line. Must work effectively within difficult schedules and time/budget constraints.

Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S in Electrical Engineering or other STEM field with equivalent experience in support of aircraft electrical subsystem design or test
  • Minimum of 2 years relatedwork experience (0 years acceptable with job-related Masters degree)
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Strong technical writing skills with at least6 monthsexperience developing technical work instructions

Preferred Qualifications:
  • All basic qualifications satisfied, plus:
  • Pastelectrical systemproduction, design, or test experience
  • ExperienceusingNX or HarnesSys CAD tools
  • Experience using CPLM/TeamCenter or equivalent Lifecycle Management tool
  • Knowledge of automated test scripts and test equipment, code writing ability a plus
  • Experience working with D38999-type electrical connectors
