Perspecta has an immediate need for an Asset Analyst - Secret Clearance in Boise, ID.

Job Responsibilities:

The IT Asset Management Analyst will have a primary focus on utilizing HP Service Manager (HPSM) and HP Asset Manager (HPAM) to update or create asset records, and document the changes to customer hardware, software and IT services.

In addition, the Analyst will utilize other tools to analyze and extract data, then construct an Excel formatted template which will be used to mass update Asset Manager.

The Asset Analyst performs multiple, sometimes complex, asset management activities necessary to support the United States Navy and Marine Corps forces in their mission worldwide. The job role is responsible for processing database updates for customer generated requests to install, move or uninstall IT services, software and hardware utilizing defined practices and procedures to ensure that an accurate account of both government owned and leased IT hardware and software is maintained.

Analysts work closely with other teams, evaluating asset update actions and exercising independent judgement to determine workflow requirements and direction.


Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
May hold entry-level or intermediate-level certification(s) in work field. Typically, 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Typical skills include:

Active DoD security clearance
Background knowledge of IT Assets or IT Asset Management
Experience working in an environment with high dependency on detail awareness
Ability to prioritize, interpret and execute tasks according to written processes and procedures
Very detailed oriented
Strong work ethic and time management skills
Good communication skills (Written & Oral)
Self-Starter and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Comfortable with MS Office applications
Proficient in MS Excel


Experience working with databases and customer ticketing tools (HP Asset Manager and HP Service Manager)
Proficient MS Access
